This shoot sought to capture the recklessness, freedom, and infatuation of blossoming love, set against the romantic backdrop of Paris. The idea was to create a world that feels spontaneous, unguarded, two people caught up in each other, as if no one else existed.
It was staged, yet the illusion was seamless. Gaëlle and Hugo weren’t a real couple, but the chemistry that unfolded in front of the camera told a different story. Every shared glance, every unplanned gesture, seemed to pull them closer into the fiction we were building.
As I photographed them, I found myself drawn into that connection. For a moment, it was easy to forget they had met only hours earlier. The city, the light, the quiet tension between them; it all conspired to make the images feel like memories of a love that had actually happened.
